Kushal Tandon on Salman Khan verdict: Let’s hunt all the rapists first, then open blackbuck file
Killing Chinkaara is much bigger crime than killing thousands of innocents? asks Kushal Tandon in his Instagram post.
The Salman Khan verdict came out as shocker for the film industry as well as the entire nation. Bollywood’s superstar Dabanng Khan has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment over 1998 blackbuck poaching case. As the verdict was announced, reactions started pouring on from all the quarters. Actor Varun Dhawan tweeted in support of Salman Khan saying that he will come out even stronger. After the verdict, many celebrities including Malaika Arora Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shatrughn Sinha dropped by at Khan’s house in Mumbai to be with his family during this tough time.
Many TV celebrities have also spoken about the Salman Khan verdict. Former Bigg Boss contestant Kushal Tandon has expressed disappointment in the verdict on social media. He wrote, “Common now ,what all is happening in this country and jail for this .... ? yaar take actions on far far far more important things like RAPE! Or I guess Killing Chinkaara is much bigger crime than killing thousand of innocent kashmiris, or Hindu or sikh or say any Indian or any human, let GO......we can do faaaaaaaaarrrrrr better ,let’s hunt alll rapist first ,clean it , then open the chinkaaraa file!direct dil se or It’s all about BUCK.”
Bigg Boss 11 runner-up Vikas Gupta also poured his heart out in an open letter speaking about Salman Khan verdict. He shared the letter on Twitter in a series of pictures.
“Just jotted down what I really feel about @BeingSalmanKhan and this current scenario . Backlash is expected but You stand for what you feel is right .”
In the open letter, Vikas Gupta has hinted towards something amiss in the way the blackbuck case has been projected by the eyewitnesses. According to him, Salman Khan, being a Bombay bred man, cannot shoot 2 blackbucks with the same gun. His letter received mixed reactions on social media. Some sided with Gupta for being a real fan of Salman Khan while others advocated that laws are same for everyone, be it a common man or a superstar.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is expected to spend his second day in Jodhpur Jail as the bail hearing will resume on Sunday. The hearing is unlikely to take place on Saturday due to transfer of judges. Further updates are awaited.
