I am looking for work, ready to face world again: Comedian Sidharth Sagar
“I have given out feelers to my managers that I am looking for work and I am sure something good would come my way', says Sidharth Sagar.
The fans of The Kapil Sharma Show were shaken by the news of comedian Siddharth Sagar going missing. The news broke out when his friend and former celebrity manager Somi Saxena posted on Facebook asking about Siddharth’s whereabouts. The post went viral and soon fans started raising questions about Sagar’s sudden disappearance. Now, the comedian, best known for his Selfie Mausi act, has come to the forefront to speak about his torturous life, family pressure, career and much more.
"I started feeling really low and I had put on weight. Soon I realised, I was depressed. My speech slurred and I was in a bad zone. When I told my parents about it, they said that they have put me on medicines for bipolar disease. I was shell-shocked when I heard it. I know about bipolar and I didn't have any of the symptoms and here my parents were giving me drugs by mixing it in my food," Sidharth Sagar was quoted as saying to Indian Express.
However, the comedian is now ready to face the camera again. “I have given out feelers to my managers that I am looking for work and I am sure something good would come my way. As for my family, I love them and still wish the best for them but I want to maintain a distance henceforth. I am also looking for some legal advice as I don’t want Suyash to take over my hard-earned money”
“I have lost about 4-5 crore of property but I know I can get back on my feet again. I will continue to help my parents but I want to live a peaceful life away from the maddening issues. Also, I really want my parents to go through counseling as they have lost the way somewhere. My mother has changed so much in these years. She has now become hyper and I hope we can get her back to normalcy. I was physically, mentally and emotionally shattered but I am now ready to face the world once again”.
Sidharth Sagar made news when he got mired in slap gate controversy. The comedian went overboard and slapped Bharti Singh quite hard, which was not taken lightly by the production house. He was finally asked to quit.
