Police in the case of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife in the CDR case

Police said that the call detail records (CDR) scam in connection with investigations into the case, he Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has released his wife and summons a lawyer.

New Delhi: Thane police today said that they have issued summons to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, his wife and a lawyer in connection with the investigation into the Cd Detection Record (CDR) scandal. This case was revealed in January. 

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Abhishek Trimukhi told the media persons that some of the accused arrested in this case had told the police that a lawyer had received call details records of actor's wife from private detectives, after which the three were summoned was done. 

"Three arrested accused Prasad Palekar, Ajinkya Nagargao and Jigar Makhwana told the police that a lawyer had obtained the CDR of Nawazuddin Siddiqui Wife from private detectives. Therefore, we have called them to confirm this. "

On January 24 this CDR racket was discovered, when the police took the action on the basis of a tip-off, the police had apprehended four private detectives from Kalvakshetra in the district. Later, a woman detective named Rajni Pandit was arrested. Since then, 11 people have been arrested in this case.
